Working with porcelain presents many challenges, mainly due to it’s lack of grog (the small pre fired bits of ceramic in most clay bodies). The result of this is that it’s difficult to create certain forms. TThis challenge is what keeps bringing me back to the medium, working with the clay to throw it into forms it naturally opposes.
